T&J celebrates 25 years in the beer dispense industry
Derek Jones, Chairman of Midlands based T&J Installations, is celebrating 25 years since setting up this successful family business within the beer dispense industry. Starting out with partner Ken Taylor – hence ‘T&J’ – back in 1984, Derek who was working at Scottish & Newcastle at the time, saw an opportunity in what was a very fragmented market of forming a professional service provider who really understood the needs of the breweries.
Starting out as just two people, T&J has now grown to a 100+ strong workforce with its head office located in the Midlands, close to the Midlands motorway network, and regional operations based in Manchester and Wales, supported by a carefully selected and regularly vetted national network of local service providers.
Derek, who is well known within the industry, says: “We believe that we are only as good as our last job and that our knowledge of the industry comes with experience and dedication. Our track record speaks for itself with the majority of our business coming from recommendation and referral.”
