There’s a thirst for some good drinks and a hunger for good events! Yes, Glastonbury Festival may be off the calendar this year, but many of the summer’s events – that have been announced and are set to go ahead – whether festivals or otherwise, are selling out thick and fast!
Licensed premises can make the most of the desire for events, too. Punch Pubs recently revealed it has put aside £1 million of funding for outdoor projects and hosting events for 2021. The pub chain has been working on an ‘Inside|Outside’ programme for some time now, with hundreds of pubs already set for 12th April. It says that over 70% of its pubs – 662 to be exact – will be ready by the time that drinking outside is permitted.
