T&J installs tank beer at The Botanist, Coventry
T&J Installations has installed Budweiser Budvar beer tanks at the latest venue to be launched by the New World Trading Company, The Botanist, Coventry. Within the first three months of opening, the venue has attracted c. 40,000 customers – representing record footfall for the area.
The bar forms part of Coventry’s revamped dining quarter, which includes the recently opened Zizzi and Bistrot Pierre. In addition to the tanks, its fit-out makes use of a pitched glass ceiling and features trees, plants and flowers – along with ornate fixtures and fittings that tie in with the theme of botany.
T&J has so far installed Budweiser Budvar’s tank beer dispense, known as ‘Tankové Pivo’, in eight New World Trading Company locations across the country, including its recently launched ‘The Florist’ bars.
Tank beer storage and dispense has excellent preservation capabilities that allow pubs, bars and restaurants to serve fresh pasteurised or unpasteurised beer for up to 21 days.
The beer held in the tanks at The Botanist, Coventry is a ‘brewery fresh’, unpasteurised product which is transported in refrigerated tanks direct from Budweiser Budvar’s brewery in the Czech Republic.

The bar’s installation features two ‘on show’ tanks, which are situated at the entrance to the bar, and an additional three tanks located back of house. The tanks deliver a combined beer storage capacity of 2,500 litres, the equivalent of 4,399 pints.
